Karate Asnà
In our Club de Valls we teach karate classes to children from 4 years old, adolescents and adults of all ages, with the purpose of achieving both physical, behavioral and mental development.

Valls, 26 October 2024, new headquarters opened on Calle Colom 30.
We have two venues where we teach according to age and level. The first was opened in August 2015 and the second in October 2024.

Karate Shotokan
Shotokan (松濤館 "Escola de Shōtō") is the first style of Japanese karate-Do. It was elaborated in his philosophy from Confucianism and bushido code (or norms of samurai warriors) by master Gichin Funakoshi and developed in his technique and tactics by his son Yoshitaka Funakoshi, from classic fighting styles from the island of Okinawa, Japan, such as the Shuri-Et (now Shorin Ryu) and the Shorei Ryu or Naha-Et (now Goju Ryu).

At the karate Shotokan, exist 26 katas (型), that are predefined sequences of movements that represent technicians of attack and defence. These katas divide at several bands, including the five Heian, the three Tekki, Bassai Dai and Sho, Kanku Dai and Sho, and other more advances.
The kumité ( 組手) is a fight at which some of the technicians practiced at the kihon or at the kata are applied at a clash with a real opponent.
Kihon (基本) is the term that refers at a combination of technicians executed at mode of exercise. This serves at the practitioners of Japanese Martial Arts like the karate, the photo, etc. to refine his technicians and improve his speed and force.

Toning
Toning refers to increased muscle tone. It is a gradual process that is achieved through strength and flexibility exercises, and has both aesthetic and functional benefits.




GAP
GAP are the acronyms for Glutis, Abdomen and Cames. It is a training modality that focuses on strengthening and toning these three areas of the body.
